Nostalgia Vintage Clothing has moved in downstairs - with vintage dresses, boots, nightgowns, purses and lots of scarfs, gloves and accessories.

Annie Sloan Workshop - Camas Antiques

Not sure how I have lived this long without painting furniture - It has become an obsession/hobby - I allow myself to paint as a reward if I get something I'm supposed to do done.  You too will be addicted once you start playing with the colors.

I needed a hutch to display Halloween - Painted & waxed it and it was in the store that evening - perfect.

The next class will be Sept. 10th (one seat left).  There will also be one on Sept. 24th where you can learn the basics of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and Wax as well as 4 fabulous techniques that will give you the confidence and know-how to transform ordinary furniture and accessories into works of art!  Join us for this fun, informative workshop with hands on training taught by Amanda Bachelder, onegirlinpink  Take away instructional handouts and sample boards to reference as you tackle your own chalk paint projects at home!

Cost of workshop is $95.00 and includes all supplies and refreshments.  Preregistration required.  5 spots available per class.

We are also having Annie Sloan Chalk Paint demonstrations from 10:00 to 12:00 in front of the store.  If you haven't tried this paint on furniture you need to.  I have always had Tommy paint furniture for me - however I went to a Class for The Annie Sloan Chalk Paint before we started carrying it in the store.  My classmates teased me because I didn't have paint clothes - but I really hadn't painted before.

I have been painting all week to fill my booth at our Vintage Street Faire this Saturday.  Trying lots of different colors - you can't believe how easy this paint is to use - so perfect for me.  There is no sanding or priming.  Love the colors!!!

We have been receiving new Foundry molds from Georgia Pacific weekly - This will continue thru our Street Faire on Saturday August 25th from 9:00 to 4:00.  The downtown Camas Association will have a booth there with even more molds - A lot to choose from.  Don't miss out  - they will be gone soon.

THERAPY BETTY, aka Casey is in the house.

I met Casey a few years ago at the Vancouver Recycled Fair - I went on the 2nd day and bought some fabulous items from her - my only regret was that I missed the first day.  It has taken awhile but she is finally here.  I took this photo with my phone - because I was afraid that the window would get destroyed before I got my camera here.  That deer head talks and sings - Can't tell you how much I love this - Thank you Casey.

Thanks to Barn House and everyone who came out to see Joe & Jermonne's beautiful home.  We were amazed at the displays and fabulous dealers that were there.
